What’s in a consultation?

Seeing the space, checking your soil composition, getting a feel for the patterns of sunlight and shade in your yard – all of these are essential to creating an accurate estimate for your project or maintenance plan.

Some examples of work that I do:

  • Creating or refreshing a flowerbed or planting space.
  • Choosing fitting plants and advising on locations for more likely success
  • Weekly, biweekly, or monthly garden maintenance – usually, this is a combination of weeding, pruning, fertilizing, transplanting, amending soil, and whatever else comes up. I’m your private gardener! (And arborist, within limits – I don’t have a ground crew, so I can’t climb alone.)
  • Wedding Plantings – you’ve probably noticed that flower arrangements cost a fortune. Why not invest in something more permanent and sustainable instead?

ABOUT THE GARDENER

My name is Angela Greco, and I love plants!

I started working on my first farm right out of college in 2012, growing organic vegetables for a small CSA near Houston, TX. The next season, I managed a CSA in Madison, WI – then took to the coasts to learn arboriculture in NYC, urban farming in LA, and old-school organic practices in Marin County, CA. I returned to Austin at the end of 2020 to be closer to family – and because Austin is where I feels most at home.

My general work rate is a sliding scale of $40-50/hr for design and labor.

Plant a Wedding Garden!

Instead of a buying expensive flowers that you try to dry and eventually throw away in frustration (no judgment), invest in a sustainable and long-lasting garden to decorate your outdoor celebration space – for the Big Day and beyond.

The best part? No special wedding prices or up-charges. You get the same rate as the rest of my clients.

Recommended start: 6+ months before your celebration date. We may be able to do a smaller planting if you have less than 6 months, so shoot me a message to discuss!

And can you contact me to plant for other types of parties? Absolutely!

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
